Notes on data processing
Online platform for out-of-court dispute resolution and notice pursuant to Section 36 VSBG
We are obliged to inform consumers of the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR platform). This ODR platform can be accessed via the following link: webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr. However, we do not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING
- Personal data is only collected by us if you provide it to us voluntarily. Subject to your express consent, we use the personal data you provide to fulfil the contract and to process your enquiries in this regard. If you provide your data as part of an event registration, the following data will generally be collected: Company name, participant name, first name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.
- Your data will only be passed on to other third parties if there is a legal obligation to do so (e.g. in cases of criminal prosecution or security) or if you have expressly consented to the transfer in advance.
- After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be deleted unless it has to be stored in order to comply with retention periods under tax and commercial law. In this case, however, the data concerned will be blocked for other purposes and deleted after the periods have expired. This does not apply if you have expressly consented to the further use of your data.
- You have the right, upon request and free of charge, to receive information about the personal data that we have stored about you.
In addition, you have the right to rectification of incorrect data, restriction of processing and erasure of your personal data, if applicable, to assert your rights to data portability and, in the event of the assumption of unlawful data processing, to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You can also revoke your consent, generally with effect for the future.
If you have any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, you can contact us free of charge at datenschutz@deutscheweine.de
