Wine collection for DWI-ProWein stand finalised

In a two-stage process, a jury of experts selected the best eight Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay wines from six growing regions from over 300 wines.

The collection will be available for free tasting at the DWI stand in Hall 1 C110. The top-rated wine of each grape variety will be honoured at 11 a.m. on the Sunday of the fair.

One of the event highlights at the DWI ProWein stand this year is the official press conference organised by Messe Düsseldorf on Monday at 9:30 a.m. with facts and figures on ProWein and the wine market.

Immediately afterwards, at 10.30 a.m., the Association of German Wine Journalists „Weinfeder e.V.“ will award this year's „German Wine Critics' Prize“ to the DWI.

In addition, the DWI will be offering trade visitors moderated tastings of selected Burgundy sparkling wines and red Burgundy wines during the trade fair. The German Wine Majesties will also be presenting wines and members of Generation Riesling (GR), who will be exhibiting in the immediate vicinity (Hall 1, E111).

The young GR winegrowers invite you to a „dinner“ on Monday evening at 5 pm and to a „sparkling wine tasting“ on the last day of the fair at 9.30 am.
