ProWine Tokyo 2025 with 30 German exhibitors

From April 15 to 17, 2025, 30 exhibitors will showcase their wines in the German pavilion at stand W-G01-01 at Tokyo Big Sight. The trade fair appearance is financially and technically supported by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).

Germany’s Prominent Presence
Germany will be the largest international participant at this year’s edition, underscoring the strategic importance of the Japanese market for German producers. Visitors get the opportunity to taste 28 products from the exhibitors at the degustation booth of the German Wine Institute representing a huge diversity.

The Rhineland-Pfalz State Ministry of Agriculture is facilitating B2B (business-to-business) meetings for wine producers during the fair to strengthen industry connections.

Programme Highlights

Charlotte Weihl, the 76th German Wine Queen, will host nine short seminars (three daily) covering trends in Riesling, Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), premium Sekt (German sparkling wine), organic wines, and the German Wine Classification system.

A collaborative seminar on Sekt led by sommelier Yūya Kondō will be held at The Wine Kingdom booth (W-B11-2) on Wednesday, April 16 from 1:45 to 2:15 pm, alongside a tasting corner featuring new arrivals of German Sekt.
